Die Boss-Brille der US-amerikanischen Marke Wiley X mit silver gray Gläsern ist aus Triloid-Nylon gefertigt, einem der widerstandsfähigsten nichtmetallischen Materialien, und verfügt über Selenite™ splitterfreie Gläser.
Die Wiley X Boss-Brille hat zahlreiche ballistische Tests bestanden, wie zum Beispiel den ANSI Z87.1+ Test für Hochgeschwindigkeits-Geschossaufprall oder die Norm EN.166F für Aufpralltests mit Geschossen größerer Masse.
Außerdem bietet die Brille Schutz vor Wind, Staub usw., dank ihrer abnehmbaren Gummidichtung (removable facial Cavity™ seal), die das Eindringen jeglicher Partikel in die Augen verhindert.
