The Ballistic Protection IV level IIIA ballistic visor from the Spanish brand Ballistic Protection IV is tested to comply with NIJ-STD-0106.01 standards. Made from transparent PMMA (a rigid, transparent thermoplastic), it is resistant to bullet impacts from 9 mm FMJ, .44 MAGNUM JHP, and .357 SIG 125g FMJ.

This ballistic visor can be easily installed on any helmet, whether FAST, MICH, etc., using the side Picatinny rails. It features a system that allows you to adjust it to three different heights (high, medium, and low), so you can use the helmet without needing to lower the ballistic visor.

The visor has a curvature that adapts to the shape of the helmet. It has an approximate thickness of 2 cm and weighs about 1.1 kg. Its materials and manufacturing methods provide a clear view, guaranteeing a high light transmission of over 86% (400-800 nm). The manufacturer offers a 3-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

To meet the NIJ IIIA standard, it must withstand the following impacts:

• .44 MAGNUM SJHP 24 g at 436 m/s.
• 9 mm FMJ 124 g at 436 m/s.
• .357 SIG 125g FMJ.

It is manufactured in Mexico and tested in laboratories authorized by the United States Institute of Justice in the USA. Includes civil liability insurance up to 3,000,000€.
