Special Forces Bivvy Bag WGTE - Snugpak

The Vivac SF Bivvi Bag WGTE from the British brand Snugpak® has a lightweight, compact, and durable design, intended to protect the user and sleeping bag from adverse weather conditions. It is an ideal option for outdoor trips, bushcraft, survival, or emergency bivouacs where gear weight and volume are critical.

Made with Paratex Dry 100% nylon outer fabric, this bivvi bag offers waterproof and windproof protection, helping retain body heat and prevent temperature loss. Its 5000 mm hydrostatic head provides an effective barrier against rain and moisture, while its breathable performance helps wick away moisture to keep the environment drier and more comfortable.

The Paratex Dry fabric is designed to move moisture to the outside, with a wicking capacity of up to 7.5 liters per m² every 24 hours. This allows the SF Bivvi Bag WGTE to be used both as lightweight protection in mild climates and in combination with 4-season sleeping bags or Snugpak's Special Forces system for more demanding conditions.

The half-length, non-locking front zipper allows for a quick exit. Thanks to its low weight and compact packed size, it can be easily carried inside a backpack, emergency kit, patrol gear, or survival setup.

Safety note: Snugpak bivvi bags have a solid coating and, although they are designed to be breathable, the fabric does not allow enough air to pass through for safe breathing. To avoid the risk of suffocation, do not fully close any bivvi bag system while in use.
