The Sidekick platform from the German brand Rose Tac has a versatile design that makes it compatible with the cases and accessories from different brands such as Safariland, BlackHawkG-CODE and Blade-Tech.
In addition, it is adjustable on belts from 4.5cm to 5.5cm (1.77" to 2.17"), the belt anchoring is done using two metal pieces and corrosion-resistant screws, the manufacturer recommends using a thread locker to anchor the platform.
Both the platform and the two belt anchor pieces are made of aluminum Al Si1MgMn with a thickness of 5mm cut by water jet which provides a millimetric finish. The use of aluminum and the black finish allows us to use it in amphibious operations.
The pack includes 4 screws, 1 allen key, 4 rubber washers, 2 pieces to anchor it to the belt or to the molle, and 4 sleeve nuts. It has dimensions of 190x66x5mm (7.5" x 2.6" x 0.2") and a weight of about 120g (4.23 oz.). The screws and nuts are made of stainless steel A2 V2A.
