The ballistic polyethylene plates from the Ballistic Protection brand are made with ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, stand alone. These plates withstand rifles up to 7.62mm NATO FMJ.

They are tested and comply with the standards established by the US Department of Justice, NIJ-0101.06.

The cover is made of 1000D Nylon, tear-resistant and treated to be resistant to UV rays and water.

Each plate has an approximate weight of 1.5kg, much lighter than ceramic plates, and measures 25.5 x 30.5 cm, with a thickness of 3cm. The plates have a slight curve to better fit the shape of our body.

The coating of the plates is made of a fire-retardant material.

The manufacturer recommends the configuration to be: front plate level IV aluminia stand alone with sniper shot protection and rear plate level III polyethylene.

The most common distribution is: level IV protection plate in front and level III behind.
