The metal carabiner with a safety gate from the Ukrainian brand M-TAC features an asymmetrical D-shaped design intended to provide a quick, secure, and high-strength connection for mountaineering, hiking, and similar activities.
It incorporates a Keylock-style gate with a locking system: a robust, comfortable mechanism that allows quick clipping and unclipping, even when wearing gloves or in low-visibility conditions. This carabiner is made of aluminum, combining lightness and durability with excellent corrosion resistance, ideal for outdoor use.
It complies with the European standard EN 362:2004/B (Type B), ensuring strength requirements, gate reliability, and load performance.
