The RNVG binocular NVGs (Ruggedized Night Vision Goggle) have a reinforced design, made of 7075 aluminum a material that provides a exceptional stiffness and strength, being 36% stronger than common steel.

Each movable point of the glasses has been reinforced to increase its impact resistance, ensuring its durability in adverse conditions. The casing of aerospace grade aluminum not only provides additional impact resistance, but also protects the key contact points on the glasses.

The lenses of the RNVG binoculars move along the bridge using inter-pupillary distance adjustment screws on each side, allowing the user to position the modules precisely over their eyes to get the best possible image. This feature ensures that once the interpupillary distance adjustment is set, it will not shift on the bridge, making it easy to quickly deploy the glasses when mounted on a Wilcox G24 mount.

In addition to their superior durability, these glasses offer manual gain control to the user. This feature allows you to manually adjust the brightness from the pipes by turning a dial on the glasses. The ability to reduce the brightness of the system reduces fatigue ocular and helps the user retain more of their natural night vision. With the RNVG-VG, users can confidently face the toughest challenges in any environment.

This unit comes mounted with MILSPEC glasses from the USA, but other types of lenses can be mounted to reduce costs (OE), or RPO lenses, which are lighter but at a higher price.

Each binocular is assembled, purged, and tested one by one, meticulously, with precision tools. They must pass a rigorous quality and durability tests.

Among many other tests, they are subjected to drop tests to meet MIL-STD-810G standards, this consists of 26 falls from 1.22 meters (4 feet) high onto concrete.

All intensifier tubes may have some imperfections in the image represented by spots of less than 0.3mm, generally there are only one or two visible imperfections, but these do not affect vision since it simply blends with the image we are viewing.

The FOM (Metric figure) is a simple way to calculate the performance of a viewfinder, it is easily calculated by multiplying the resolution x the noise of the image we see through the viewfinder. The higher the FOM, the better the quality of vision.

They have Auto-Gating, this technology allows the device to automatically adjust the amount of light amplification in real-time to adapt to changes in ambient brightness. This feature is particularly useful in situations where there are intense light sources, such as vehicle headlights or urban lights, that could dazzle the device and affect image quality. This helps maintain a clear and sharp image without compromising the user's vision in variable lighting environments.

The NVT come with a 2-year warranty for manufacturing defects, while the ECHO and ECHO + come with a 7-year warranty for manufacturing defects.

They are available in WP or white phosphorus, and GP or green phosphorus.
