The Spitfire MKII rapid access cummerbund side bands from the Polish brand Direct Action are made of patented laminated material, featuring quick-release ROC buckles. The inner part is made of elastic nylon which makes these side panels partially elastic for greater freedom of movement and comfort.

The outside is fully covered with laser-cut MOLLE for attaching additional accessories, while the inside has space for soft ballistic panels if required.

These bands attach to the front and back of the plate carrier with Velcro. They are compatible with the Spitfire MK II, Spitfire, or Hellcat plate carrier vests from the brand, as well as with other plate carriers that can accommodate this type of cummerbund.

They have a weight of about 242 grams and some measurements of:

  • M: 58.5cm x 14cm (23in x 5.5in)
  • L: 62.5cm x 14cm (24.6in x 5.5in)
  • XL: 66.5cm x 14cm (26.2in x 5.5in)
