The Nitecore Thumb LEO EDC flashlight with clip has been specifically developed for law enforcement professionals and security personnel who need a compact, discreet and functional tool for daily duty. It keeps the ultra-light format of the Thumb series, incorporating features such as UV light and a red/blue flashing mode aimed at identification, signaling and police use.

Equipped with high-performance LEDs, it offers a maximum output of 45 lumens and a beam range of up to 24 meters, sufficient for identification tasks. It includes white light, UV light and a special red/blue warning mode, ideal for signaling, checkpoints or emergency situations. Its internal lithium-ion battery is rechargeable via USB-C and provides up to 2 h of runtime at maximum output.

Differences between the Nitecore Thumb and the Thumb LEO: while both flashlights share the same ultra-compact format, weight and dimensions, the main difference lies in their intended use and lighting modes. The Thumb 85 lm is aimed at EDC and outdoor use, offering higher output (85 lumens), longer runtime (up to 22 h on low) and white light with red light, ideal for general use. The Thumb LEO, meanwhile, is specifically designed for law enforcement, with lower output (45 lumens) but including UV light and a red/blue warning mode intended for signaling, checkpoints and identification.
