These GSG 9.2 boots from the renowned German brand Adidas are a waterproof tactical boot that has been developed in collaboration with special operations units of the SWAT and German GSG 9 teams. The name of this range of Adidas boots comes precisely from this special operations group of the German federal police.
This high-top boot has a shaft that is approximately 21 cm (8.2") high and can be worn year-round. It features a Climaproof® waterproof membrane, Adidas' version of Goretex, which provides breathability while repelling water from entering the boot.
The sole is made by Adidas and includes TRAXION™ technology for greater traction on multiple terrains. It includes a removable Ortholite insole made of EVA that provides excellent breathability, absorbs odors, and offers greater comfort.
In the heel of this tactical boot, we find Adiprene® for impact absorption. Adiprene® is an elastomer (rubber) that possesses the perfect combination of hardness, durability, and load capacity. It does not lose its properties in high or low temperatures, a crucial feature for work under pressure or impact.
It features 3 reinforced bands with Adituff™ technology, an abrasion-resistant material, for greater support, protection, and resistance in the midfoot area.
With this GSG 9.2 boot, we won't have any issues performing Fast Rope operations, as it features RAP (Rope Assault Protection). Additionally, this reinforcement extends to the heel area, providing safer braking and better control during Fast Rope.
This GSG 9.2 boot is certified as work footwear according to EN347/O2 (slip-resistant, anti-static, and gasoline-resistant). The sole is resistant to oil and gasoline according to DIN EN ISO 20345, 20346, 20347 standards and meets the anti-static standard DIN EN 344-1, 4.3.4. It has an approximate weight of 1448g/pair (size 43).
