The sleeping bag Snugpak Softie Elite 1 is designed for those who need a lightweight, very compact bag. Its insulation Softie® made of 100% polyester fiber combines the best of natural down with the durability of synthetic fiber: it keeps heat even in damp conditions, is lightweight and breathable, making it a far more versatile option than down bags in humid environments.
The outer fabric Paratex Micro is wind-resistant and water-resistant, while the inner lining Paratex Light is soft, very light and highly breathable (12 liters per m² every 24 hours). It also incorporates an inner layer of Reflectatherm that reflects body heat inward, significantly improving thermal retention. The comfort temperature range is 7 °C and the lower limit is 2 °C, making it suitable for spring, summer and autumn outings, or as a base bag in layering systems.
One of its strengths is the EPS (Expanda Panel System) which allows the bag's width to be increased from 75 to 87.5 cm in the chest area, offering more freedom of movement when temperatures allow. The closure is a two-way YKK® zipper with an inner insulating flap to eliminate cold bridges, and the adjustable hood with a drawcord ensures a seal on the coldest nights. The reinforced foot allows you to even sleep with boots on, and it has clips to shorten the bag's length as needed.
Weighing approximately 1,000 g and with a compressed size of just 22 x 16 cm it fits in the palm of your hand (includes compression sack). Total length 220 cm, suitable for users up to 190 cm.
