The Aerotac Side-Zip 8" tactical boots from the American brand First Tactical are among the lightest professional high-boot boots on the market, weighing just 440 g (15.5 oz). They offer the comfort of athletic shoes in a rugged tactical format.
The breathable upper is made from a combination of mesh and layers of TPU with hyperfusion technology, which prevents the layers from peeling apart and provides great durability. At the bottom, the sole with proprietary REZ-TRAC™ technology offers 360° grip, even on wet surfaces like asphalt.
The sole exceeds the requirements of EN 20345:2022 and ASTM F3445-21 standards in terms of slip resistance.
The inside of the AERO-TAC™ boot is made from breathable mesh with an antimicrobial treatment Aegis®. A YKK® zipper on the side makes both putting them on and taking them off easier.
It includes an Ortholite® insole with open-cell technology, which helps manage moisture and provides extra comfort.
It contains no metal components, making them suitable for use in airports, security checks, customs, etc. The midsole is made from a sealed blend of EVA and TPU that absorbs impact effectively, significantly reducing fatigue.
