The Holosun HE508T-X2 RD red dot sight is an open reflex optic that combines a compact footprint with a CNC-machined Grade 5 titanium housing. Its rugged construction, black finish, and IP67 protection provide durability for demanding use, while keeping the weight at approximately 57 grams.

It features the MRS multi-reticle system, which lets you choose between a 2 MOA red dot, a 32 MOA circle, or both combined. Its window of approximately 23 × 16 mm, with multi-coated lenses, delivers a clear image. It offers 1x magnification, parallax correction, and unlimited eye relief, allowing use with both eyes open.

The illumination control offers 12 brightness levels (10 daylight and 2 night-vision-compatible settings), plus automatic adjustment to adapt to ambient light. The Lockout Mode locks the buttons to prevent accidental changes, while the memory retains the last selected setting.

It is powered by a CR1632 battery housed in a side tray, which allows replacement without removing the sight. Holosun claims a runtime of up to 50,000 hours at brightness level 6. Shake Awake technology helps reduce power consumption by turning off the reticle during periods of inactivity and reactivating it when motion is detected.

The top solar panel incorporates Solar Failsafe technology, which provides an auxiliary power source. In automatic mode and with sufficient ambient light, it keeps the reticle working even if the battery is depleted, adding backup to the conventional power system.

It features an RMR mounting footprint, compatible with the appropriate interfaces and adapter plates for this standard. It offers 1 MOA per click adjustments and a range of ±50 MOA for elevation and windage. Its dimensions are approximately 45 × 29 × 29 mm and it includes a cleaning cloth and tools for mounting and maintenance.
