Entry to the Escala Ejecutiva of the National Police Corps

If you are reading these lines, it is because you are interested in joining the executive cadre, the Escala Ejecutiva, of the National Police Corps (CNP). This branch of the corps coordinates and directs police service units and carries out investigations. It comprises inspectors and chief inspectors.

There are two main routes into this cadre: internal promotion, when the candidate is already a member of the corps, or entry “from outside” through an open competitive examination.
