The famous "Combat Application Tourniquet ® (CAT® )" could be said to be the most famous and used tourniquet in the world. This new gen. 7 version has multiple improvements that facilitate self-application.
The tourniquet rod is more resistant, the buckle has been redesigned and offers greater effectiveness. It has a larger working diameter, more resistance, and textures that improve grip.
The rod's grip hook has been improved, quick windlass locking, bilateral reinforcement, additional resistance.
The US Army Research Institute considered it 100% effective for cutting off blood flow in upper and lower extremities.
