The AETERNUS NVG binoculars from the American brand Low Light Innovations offer a revolutionary night vision system that redefines industry standards with incredible features and performance.

The binoculars are powered by a single CR123 battery , the AETERNUS from Low Light Innovations stands out for offering us a greater battery capacity. The brand's developers removed the IR illuminator from the binocular, which helps extend the battery life up to 40 hours.

Weight is also one of the strong points of this binocular, weighing only 535 grams (without battery). According to the manufacturer, the AETERNUS binocular has the most resistant and easy-to-use fixed housing on the market, and has also improved structural integrity, offering us a waterproof system.

The binoculars are waterproof up to 18 meters (60 feet) making it suitable for amphibious operations. Boasting a focusing range of 9.8 inches to infinity, a 40-degree field of view, and interpupillary adjustment of 51 to 73 mm, the AETERNUS stands as the pinnacle of optical excellence . Its compatibility with MX-10160 optics, eyepiece and PVS-14 objective further expands its functionality.

This unit comes mounted with MILSPEC lenses from the USA , but other types of lenses can be mounted to reduce costs (OE), or RPO lenses, lighter, but with a higher price.

Each binocular is assembled, purged and tested one by one, meticulously, with precision tools. They must pass rigorous quality and resistance tests.

Among many other tests, they are subjected to drop tests to comply with MIL-STD-810G standards , this consists of 26 drops from 1.22 meters (4 feet) high onto concrete.

All intensifier tubes may have some imperfection in the image represented by spots of less than 0.3mm , generally there are only one or two visible imperfections, but these do not affect the vision since they simply blend with the image we are seeing. .

The FOM (Figure of metric) is a simple way to calculate the performance of a viewfinder, it is easily calculated by multiplying the resolution x the noise of the image that we see through the viewfinder. The higher the FOM, the better the quality of vision.

They have Auto-Gating , this technology allows the device to automatically adjust the amount of light amplification in real time to adapt to changes in ambient luminosity. This feature is particularly useful in situations where there are bright light sources, such as vehicle headlights or street lights, which could dazzle the device and affect image quality. This helps maintain a clear, crisp image without compromising the user's vision in varying lighting environments.

The NVT have a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects, the ECHO and ECHO + have a 7-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

They are available in W.P. or white phosphorus, and GP or green phosphorus.
