The Petzl OK oval carabiner, non-locking is a lightweight, strong and very practical option for work at height, maneuvers and professional use with larger-section equipment. Made from aluminum, it stands out for its symmetrical oval shape, specially designed to optimally position devices such as pulleys, ascenders and other broad-bodied connection components.
Its lightweight construction helps reduce the total weight of the carried equipment, which is especially important during extended operations or in configurations where several connectors are used. In addition, its smooth internal design promotes rotation of the carabiner and limits the risk of creating unwanted stable points during maneuvers.
The Keylock system prevents involuntary snagging when connecting or disconnecting the carabiner, allowing faster and cleaner handling. Its H profile optimizes the strength-to-weight ratio and also helps protect the markings from abrasion. This non-locking version is designed for quick and easy clipping.
It can also be combined with the CAPTIV bar to keep the carabiner correctly oriented along its major axis, connect it to the device and reduce the risk of flipping during use.
