The Softie Elite 3 sleeping bag from the British brand Snugpak is a high-performance mummy sleeping bag designed for three seasons and extreme cold conditions. With a comfort temperature of -5 °C and a limit of -10 °C, it provides exceptional insulation without sacrificing comfort.
This range of bags stands out for its EPS (Expanda Panel System), which allows you to widen the bag from 75 cm to 87.5 cm simply by opening the side panel to improve freedom of movement or closing it completely to maximize thermal retention. This versatility lets you adapt the bag to different temperatures and different types of users.
Its Softie® insulation reproduces the thermal properties of natural down but with the durability and easy maintenance of a synthetic fiber. It uses polyester microfibers with different crimping and compression processes that create a structure similar to natural insulation, retaining heat even in damp conditions. In addition, the interior incorporates Reflectatherm, a material that reflects body heat and improves thermal efficiency by up to 15% without adding weight to the bag.
The exterior is made of Paratex Micro, a wind-resistant and water-repellent fabric, while the interior Paratex Light offers great softness and breathability, helping to evacuate excess moisture during the night. Its mummy shape design, together with the adjustable hood and the zipper with thermal protection system, keeps body heat even when temperatures drop below zero.
The Softie Elite 3 also includes practical details designed for real use such as an internal pocket for personal items, YKK® two-way zipper with anti-snag system, reinforced foot area that allows sleeping with boots, clips to adjust the bag length and a compression sack that makes it easier to carry in a backpack.
