The High-visibility orange CAT Gen. 7 Tourniquet is the latest generation of the Combat Application Tourniquet® C-A-T®, one of the most widely recognized tourniquets for the rapid control of severe bleeding in limbs. Its design allows effective, fast, one-handed application, even in emergency situations where every second counts.
This Gen. 7 version includes key improvements over previous generations, such as a more efficient adjustment buckle, a reinforced rod with a larger diameter and better grip, a ambidextrous locking clip, and a beveled stabilizing plate that improves stability during application. Its high-visibility orange color makes it easy to locate immediately in first aid kits, IFAK backpacks, emergency vehicles, or rescue environments.
The patented C-A-T® system uses a free-moving internal tightening band, designed to distribute pressure evenly around the limb. This helps reduce uneven pressure points and allows effective occlusion of blood flow when applied correctly. In addition, Red Tip Technology® makes it easier to guide the strap through the buckle and improves one-handed handling.
The CAT Gen. 7 Tourniquet is recommended by the Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care — CoTCCC and has been tested to occlude blood flow in upper and lower limbs. It is a reference option for military, police, and medical personnel, emergency teams, and anyone looking for an original, reliable, and compact tourniquet for first aid.
