The multifunctional crossbody bag Essential Kitbag from the Polish brand Helikon-Tex is specially designed for bushcraft or as a survival kit, thanks to some specific details it includes. However, it can also be perfectly used as a EDC shoulder bag (Everyday Carry) for daily use.
It has a adjustable and removable transport handle 5cm wide, which allows it to be used as a MOLLE pocket. On the back of the Essential Kitbag, we find two webbing strips that allow it to be anchored to any MOLLE surface, such as a backpack.
The shoulder bag is divided into three compartments: two equal-sized side pockets, each with a mesh pocket inside and a small loop to attach a carabiner, keys, or similar accessories. The zippers are from the brand YKK, which guarantees high quality.
The main compartment it is further divided into two: a smaller pocket for items like wallet, mobile, etc., and another with enough space to carry a 1L bottle along with the Camp Cup. In addition, it has a small front pocket for pens, markers, cutlery, etc. At the top, it has a small mesh pocket for small items like water purification tablets.
The main compartment has a closure with elastic adjustment at the top, and the flap closes with an adjustable buckle in height via a front strap.
On the back, the backpack has a designed system to carry a large knife, a axe and other similar utensils. To insert the object, simply slide it in from the top, and at the bottom, a velcro flap can be opened. Additionally, at the top of the Essential Kitbag, there is a DRing buckle that can be used to secure the item we are carrying, preventing it from falling accidentally.
Its measurements are 22 x 20 x 10 cm (8.7" x 7.9" x 3.9"), with an approximate capacity of 2.5 liters and a weight of about 384 grams.
