The Ballistic Helmet Level IIIA Pack + Ballistic Visor Level IIIA by Ballistic Protection IV is a comprehensive ballistic head and face protection solution, designed for police, tactical, military, and professional security use. This pack lets you choose between two helmet configurations: FAST helmet or MICH helmet, both with Level IIIA ballistic protection and tested to meet the requirements set by NIJ-STD-0106.01.

The set includes a Level IIIA ballistic shield, designed to protect the facial area against ballistic impacts while maintaining clear visibility. Both the helmet and the shield are made from high-performance materials and have been developed to provide reliable protection in demanding operational environments.

The FAST ballistic helmet is the most modular option in the pack. It features side Picatinny rails for installing accessories such as flashlights, communication systems, adapters, or hearing protection. It also has a front mount for NVG night vision devices and female Velcro surfaces for attaching patches, camouflage covers, battery pouches, or other tactical accessories.

The MICH ballistic helmet offers a more enclosed and protective configuration, since unlike the FAST model, it includes ear protection. It is especially suited to users who prioritize greater side coverage of the head over maximum external modularity.

Both helmets feature level IIIA protection and have been tested against 9 mm FMJ, .44 MAGNUM JHP and .357 SIG. They are made of aramid, a fiber with high thermal and mechanical resistance used in ballistic protection equipment for its excellent strength-to-weight ratio.

The helmets have V50 anti-fragmentation protection from 650 m/s to 700 m/s, increasing protection against fragments and secondary threats. Inside, they include padded cushions to improve comfort, stability, and impact absorption. They also have a rear BOA adjustment system, which allows the helmet to be fitted quickly and precisely to the user's head.

The included Level IIIA ballistic shield is made of transparent PMMA, a rigid, durable thermoplastic material that provides facial protection against impacts of 9 mm FMJ, .44 MAGNUM JHP and .357 SIG 125 gr FMJ. Its curved design adapts to the shape of the helmet, providing broad face coverage without compromising visibility.

The visor has an adjustable system in three height positions: high, medium, and low. This allows the user to adapt the shield to the operational situation, keeping it raised when face coverage is not necessary. It has an approximate thickness of 2 cm (0.8"), an approximate weight of 1.1 kg (2.4 lb) and a light transmission above 86 % between 400 and 800 nm, promoting clear vision during use.
