Magpul rubber Picatinny Rail Covers are designed to cover the sections of Picatinny rail we do not use to mount accessories, protecting the rail from impacts, wear, and dirt... They also help prevent the sling or other items from getting snagged. In addition, they provide a much more comfortable gripping surface, with or without gloves.
They are made from Santoprene™, a flexible, durable material designed to withstand extreme temperatures. Its texture improves grip on the handguard and helps maintain better control of the weapon without adding practically any bulk or weight.
Each cover fits up to 18 Picatinny slots and can be easily cut to adapt it to the length we need. This makes it possible to cover only certain areas of the rail, leaving space for flashlights, grips, etc.
Installation is simple and requires no tools. We only need to press the cover onto the rail slots until it is properly seated.
