The Salomon QUEST 4 D FORCES 2 boot, from the French manufacturer Salomon, is an all-terrain boot that features the latest Salomon advancements in mountain boot manufacturing and design. From the Sole All Terrain Contagrip® up to the lacing system SensiFit™. These are boots designed for civilians and military personnel seeking a high-performance mid-height boot.

The sole All Terrain Contagrip® by Salomon is made to cover the maximum number of possible surfaces, and also ensures us long durability and safety on both wet and dry terrain.

Features the 4D Advanced Chassis™, this frame provides stability to the boot even on the most rugged terrains, thus reducing fatigue during long hikes.

It is made of Nubuck leather, a type of cowhide leather, similar to suede but with substantial differences. The manufacturing process is different; the polishing and tanning are done on the outer side of the skin. This gives it greater durability.

The midsole is made with a combination of rubbers of different densities to offer greater cushioning, stability, and control. It also contains EVA rubber EnergyCell, a type of EVA rubber that reduces impact.

It features mesh around the upper part of the shaft and a reinforced tongue that prevent small stones from entering inside the boot. The reinforced tongue also helps keep it centered.

It is made of non-reflective materials, specially designed for tactical environments.

It has a breathable lining for greater comfort and better ventilation.

It is compatible with the Quicklace™ by Salomon (not included).

The straps we see from the laces down to the lower leather part are the technology SensiFit™ by Salomon, which wraps the foot from top to bottom and on both sides.

It includes insoles OrthoLite®, which provide better cushioning, breathability, and durability, increasing the comfort and performance of the boot.

The ISO 20344:2011 standard certifies it, ensuring it has a layer of puncture-resistant material that prevents sharp objects from penetrating the shoe sole.

It also complies with ISO 2419:2012, related to the thickness and quality of the leather, assuring it has a thickness of 2mm for greater durability.
