The Tomcat ballistic glasses from the Swiss Eye brand are made of shatterproof polycarbonate in compliance with the EN 12312-1 standard. The photochromic lenses automatically change color, adjusting to the light intensity.

They provide us with 100% protection against UVA, UVB, and UVC rays, and also guarantee high quality without image distortion. The lenses feature an anti-fog and scratch-resistant coating that prevents them from fogging up or scratching easily.

They also comply with the NATO STANAG 2920 and 4296 certification, which qualifies them as ballistic protective eyewear. The approximate weight of the glasses is 32 grams.

The certificate according to NATO standards STANAG 2920 and STANAG 4296. STANAG 2920 establishes the fragmentation test method (V50) for personal protection, measuring the velocity at which a standard fragment projectile (FSP) has a 50% chance of penetration, ensuring resistance against shrapnel and fragments. STANAG 4296, specific to military eye pro, requires the glasses/visor to meet the ballistic resistance defined in STANAG 2920 and also fulfill usage criteria such as low weight and comfort, reduction of fogging and scratching, compatibility with other PPE, and a clear field of vision of at least 160°.
