Hydra V2 Mount Kit - GBRS Group

The Hydra V2 double optical frame from the American brand GBRS Group it is made of 6061-T6 aluminum with a black anodized finish (type 3, class 2) in accordance with the MIL-A-8625 standard.

The Hydra V2 is the first double optical frame designed specifically for end users that offers a 2.91” optical centerline for faster target identification, regardless of equipment obstructions, such as hearing protection/communications, gas masks/CBRN, or the use of night vision. A higher optics allows for a more athletic posture and a "Heads-up" attitude, which promotes the maintenance of a vertical spine, which in turn directs ballistic protection or plates towards the threat. This "Heads-up" style significantly improves reaction speed and increases the user's situational awareness.

The unique and patented design of the Hydra V2 offers a raised MIL-STD-1913 platform, or Picatinny, which allows you to directly mount accessories such as lights, optics, thermal devices and aiming devices. It is perfect for ultracompact PDW/SMG platforms, where rail space is limited, but it is still essential to mount a light and an aiming device. The opening in the neck allows for efficient cable management or the passage of iron sights in the AIMPOINT® and Trijicon® variants.

Thanks to this innovative design, it is no longer necessary to compromise grip due to equipment obstruction or to move hands due to lack of space on the rail. This is achieved elevating accessories like lights or lasers off the Picatinny rail and bringing them closer to the red dot optics. In this way, they eliminate the visual obstruction and the weight is distributed more evenly, positioning itself in the center of the platform over the charging area, which improves overall balance and makes it easier to handle.

Compatibility of the frame:

• AIMPOINT® MICRO T-2™: Compatible with all red dot sights that incorporate the footprint of the Aimpoint MICRO T-2.
• AIMPOINT® DUTY RDS™: Compatible with CompM5s™ and Duty RDS™ optics.
• EOTECH®: Compatible with all EOTECH Holographic Weapon Sights (HWS) or similar footprints.
• Trijicon MRO®: Compatible with all Trijicon MRO sights or similar footprints.

The kit, apart from 1 frame, includes:

• AIMPOINT®: Includes a long reach T10 key, a long reach 3/32” hex key, and a ¼” T25 coupling tip.
• EOTECH®: Includes a T25 ¼” coupling tip.
• Trijicon®: Includes a long reach T10 key, a long reach 3/32” hex key, and a ¼” T25 coupling tip.

It is recommended to secure them with a torque limiter so that it does not exceed 5 Nm (45 In./Lbs).
