The Holosun EPS-CARRY-RD-MRS is an enclosed red dot sight designed for subcompact and slim-profile pistols. Its construction with fully closed emitter protects the system from dust, moisture, lint, and other external elements, offering a compact solution for everyday carry and professional use. Its body is made of 7075-T6 aluminum with a black anodized finish and features IPX8 water resistance, while weighing approximately just 35 g.

It incorporates the Multi-Reticle System (MRS) from Holosun, which lets you choose between a 2 MOA red dot, a 32 MOA circle or both together. The dot provides a precise aiming reference, while the circle makes the reticle easier to acquire visually. Its aspherical lens with multi-layer coating delivers a sharp image with reduced distortion. The 1x magnification, parallax-free design, and unlimited eye relief complete an optical package designed for intuitive target acquisition.

The Solar Failsafe technology uses the integrated solar panel as a backup power source when available light is sufficient. In automatic mode, the reticle brightness adjusts to the ambient light detected by the sensors, using the battery when captured energy is not enough. It also features manual mode with 12 brightness levels, eight for daylight and four compatible with night vision devices, and Lockout Mode, which locks the controls to prevent accidental setting changes.

The Shake Awake system puts the reticle to sleep during periods of inactivity and reactivates it when movement is detected, restoring the last saved settings. The timer is factory set to 10 minutes and allows selection of 10 minutes, 1 hour, 12 hours, or sleep off. It also includes memory function and low-battery warning through a slow reticle flash.

Main power is supplied by an included CR1620 battery, with runtime of up to 50,000 hours using only the dot at brightness level 6. Its side tray allows replacement without removing the optic from the slide. Windage and elevation adjustments offer a value of 1.5 MOA per click, with a travel range of ±30 MOA on each axis.

It uses the Holosun K mounting pattern and includes a RMSc to K adapter plate to expand installation options. Its low mounting profile makes it easy to use with compatible iron sights, although this depends on the slide, the plate used, and the sight height.
