The Sleeper Extreme sleeping bag from British brand Snugpak is part of the Basecamp range and has a mummy-shaped design that helps retain body heat. It offers a comfort temperature of -7 °C and a limit temperature of -12 °C.
It is made with a lightweight, water-repellent AQUALight 190T polyester outer fabric, and a soft, breathable SUPER SOFT lining. The ISOFIBRE siliconised hollow-fibre filling traps air within its structure to provide thermal insulation, helping retain warmth even in damp conditions.
It features an elasticated hood adjustable with a drawcord and a thermal collar that help reduce heat loss. The two-way zip runs along the full side of the bag, allowing ventilation to be adjusted. It also has an internal baffle filled with insulating material to help reduce heat loss along the zip.
Webbing loops at the base allow the bag to be hung up for airing and drying. A compression sack is included to reduce its packed volume for transport.

The limit temperature is not the same as the comfort temperature; sleep quality also depends on environmental conditions and individual tolerance to cold.
