The Ballistic Protection brand ballistic plates level 4 are made with Stand Alone alumina ceramic with ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) backing. It is resistant to rifles up to .30 AP / 7.62mm NATO FMJ.
The cover is made of tear-resistant 1000D Nylon, and also features UV protection and is waterproof. It has a curved design that fits our torso better.
The shooter plate (front) weighs about 2.65kg approximately, has dimensions of 25.4 x 30.5cm and a thickness of 2.4cm. The full plate (back) weighs about 2.8kg approximately and has dimensions of 25.5 x 30.5cm and a thickness of 2.4cm.
Most plate carriers are compatible with shooter-cut plates, but not all plate carriers are compatible with full plates. If you have any doubts, the best option is to buy shooter-cut plates, as they are compatible with all plate carriers.
The coating of the plates is made of a fire-retardant, flame-resistant material.
It comes with certification according to standard NIJ-0101.06. You can check the test reports here and here.
