Quick Guide (30 seconds)

1. Place the compass on the map, connecting your position with your destination.
2. Rotate the bezel until the lines on the bezel align with the map's meridians.
3. Adjust the declination if necessary.
4. With the compass in hand, turn your body until the needle aligns with the north on the bezel and proceed in the direction of travel.
