These electronic ear protectors Impact Sport from the brand Howard Leight amplify ambient sound to 82dB and reduce loud sounds. Thanks to this, they allow us to hear our colleagues or other important ambient sounds, while reducing harmful sounds for our ears.
They have specifically placed microphones to enhance and improve the sound and thus achieve a more natural hearing. They feature the patented Air Flow Control technology to achieve optimal attenuation across all frequencies.
The pads can be replaced quickly and easily. They also have a 3.5mm Jack auxiliary input for connecting other audio devices, mp3 player, etc.
They are certified according to the standard 29CFR 1910.95 - OSHA Occupational Noise Exposure (US) and the ANSI S3.19-1974 - Attenuation Test Protocol (US).
They work with two included AAA batteries.
To clean the pads, simply take a damp cloth with water, add a little soap, and gently clean them, removing the excess with a dry cloth. They cannot be submerged in water and do not use other cleaners as they may damage the pads. The manufacturer recommends replacing them every 6 to 8 months under normal usage conditions, or every 3 to 4 months in cases of excessive use or in extreme/humid climates.
