The Snugpak Tactical 2 sleeping bag from the British brand Snugpak is a compact, lightweight bag designed for maneuvers, outdoor activities, and camping; its comfort temperature is 0ºC and its limit is -5ºC. Made in the United Kingdom, it combines advanced materials and an optimized design to offer excellent thermal insulation, breathability, and moisture resistance with very low weight and volume.
Its construction incorporates Softie® Premier insulation, a high-performance synthetic fiber that replicates the properties of natural down, retaining heat even in damp conditions. The interior features a TS1™ (Thermal Suede) lining, a quick-drying microfiber fabric that provides an immediate warm feel and helps wick away body moisture. In addition, the Reflectatherm material reflects heat generated by the body, increasing the bag's thermal efficiency.
The exterior is made of Paratex Steelplate, a water- and wind-resistant fabric that protects against external moisture. The stitch-free construction prevents cold spots from appearing, ensuring an even distribution of insulation. Its mummy shape design improves heat retention and reduces the bag's overall weight.
The Snugpak Tactical 2 sleeping bag also includes practical features designed for real use, such as an adjustable hood with drawcord, a two-way YKK® side zipper with thermal shielding, a reinforced foot area for sleeping with boots, and a compression sack that makes it easy to carry in a backpack. Additionally, it can be joined to another compatible bag via left- and right-hand zippers to form a double bag.
