The Spanish cavalry t-shirt from SERMILITAR features a unique design, inspired by the pattern of the Spanish cavalry and Spain, Saint James the Apostle, along with the legendary phrase "Santiago and close Spain".
This motto has its origin in the shouts and slogans used by the Christian troops during the Reconquista. Saint James the Apostle is also the patron saint of Spain due to the influence this saint had throughout much of the country's history, an influence that still endures in the north of Spain thanks to the popular Camino de Santiago.
The Spanish cavalry is one of the four branches that make up the Army and is characterized by being a corps of knights mounted on horseback. Nowadays, horses have been replaced by armored vehicles, both tracked and wheeled.
