Heating bag with activator - Tactical Foodpack

The heating bag with activator from the brand Tactical Foodpack it allows us to boil water without fire, which is perfect for heating our food in situations where we cannot make a fire. To use it, we only need a few 150 ml of water and let it run for as long as we need (the maximum usage time is 25 minutes).

The activator is a chemical compound developed to heat water up to a temperature up to 100 ºC. It takes between 30 seconds and 3 minutes to start heating up, depending on the temperature of the water we add: the colder it is, the longer it will take to start heating up.

To prepare one serving, it usually takes between 15 and 20 minutes. It is recommended to stir the food every 10 minutes so that it heats evenly. The package includes 1 activator.

The bag includes a mark on the inside to know how far we need to fill it. The instructions for use are:

1. Open the bag and remove the activator.
2. Remove the activator from the plastic and place it at the bottom of the bag.
3. Place inside the bag, just above the activator, our portion of Tactical Foodpack.
4. Pour about 150 ml of water, up to the mark inside the package, and close it quickly.

Attention: This process generates a lot of heat. Keep it away from your hands to avoid burns. The water that comes into contact with the heater is not suitable for consumption.

The bag can be reused approximately up to 10 times. We will only need to change the activator, which is sold separately.
