The SPECTER MILSPEC ballistic glasses by Gatorz combine protection, low weight and a clean tactical design. Made in the United States, they feature a CNC-machined aluminium frame that provides durability and comfort for both professional use and outdoor activities.
Their lenses provide impact protection in accordance with ANSI Z87.1+ and meet the ballistic fragmentation protection requirements of MIL-PRF-32432A, section 4.8.4. Their large surface area provides greater eye coverage and blocks 100 % of UVA and UVB rays.
The MILSPEC version features an anti-fog treatment to help maintain clear vision during activity, along with a hydrophobic and oleophobic coating that repels water, oils and grease.
The frame's central width and temples can be adjusted to fit the face. The silicone nose bridge with a metal core is also adjustable, providing a comfortable, secure fit. The thin temples make the glasses easier to wear with helmets, communications headsets and hearing protection.
The construction includes four five-barrel hinges secured with stainless steel rivets and durable Cerakote or anodised finishes, depending on the version. Each frame undergoes a quality check covering more than 100 measurement points.
