The FLEX PRO ballistic panel of the American brand Engarde is the lightest and most advanced ballistic package in the brand's panel range. It offers high ballistic and stab protection in a very lightweight and flexible panel.

If there is one thing that characterizes this panel, it is its flexibility, this is a pro in its favor when we talk about comfort since it will fit perfectly to the contour of our torso. Also it is lighter and finer than the rest of the vests in the range.

It is manufactured in Teijin Aramid and with fiber of Dynema Force Multiplier Tech., a high molecular weight material with a resistance 15 times greater than steel, which makes it exceed the NIJ standards for resistance and durability, achieving the best-in-class V50 (anti-fragmentation) performance, all this while maintaining a low weight and great comfort.

The approximate weight of the ballistic panels is 1600g, with a thickness of only 6mm. It has a surface density of 4.5kg/m2.

If you have questions between the MT PRO vest and the FLEX PRO, the clearest difference between the two is rigidity; the FLEX PRO, as its name indicates, is more flexible and therefore more comfortable to wear, especially for women. Regarding protection, the main difference is that the MT PRO includes needle protection, which the FLEX PRO does not. Aside from this, there are some other differences related to ballistic and fragmentation protection tests, but they do not make a significant difference.

• Ballistic protection: NIJ Level IIIA according to STD 0101.06 + 7.62x25 Tokarev FMJ S&B (Brass Jacket) @ 1800 ft/s + 7.62x25 85g Romanian Tokarev FMJ @1530ft/s.
• Anti-fragmentation protection: V50-.357 SIG FMJ (554m/s). V50-STANAG 2920 17gr. FSP (645m/s).
• Knife protection: NIJ 0115.00 Knife P1 (15 J < 20 mm) and S1 (25J < 20mm)

Sizes:

1.- Measurement A: measure right at the navel.

2.- Sizing with Full-Wrap the panels touch at the sides without overlapping each other, with Over Lap the panels on the sides have an overlap of about 5cm (2"). The model with Overlap is recommended for those who are looking for the maximum protection, as a downside, they will have less freedom of movement.

3.- Measurement B is taken from the navel to the sternum; verify that it corresponds to the vest size that matched you based on the measurements from step 2. 

In case it does not apply, you can choose one size up or one size down. To select one size or another you have to take into account if you want the vest with Full Wrap (without overlap) or Overlap (with overlap).
