The lightweight poncho from the Polish brand Helikon-Tex provides ultralight waterproof protection designed to shield you from rain and wind while keeping weight and packed size to a minimum. Inspired by the classic US poncho with decades of tradition, this version has been optimized by removing unnecessary elements and retaining only the essential components to reduce weight and folded volume.
Made from 100% rip-stop polyester that resists tearing, it offers reliable protection in adverse weather conditions. Instead of metal grommets, it features reinforced tape loops that reduce total weight and improve packability while maintaining full size when deployed. Additionally, all attachment points are reinforced with special anti-tear fabric to withstand tension when used as a shelter.
Includes two side snaps to form sleeves and prevent the poncho from billowing in the wind, as well as a redesigned hood with elastic cord adjustment, more practical and effective than the traditional system. It folds easily into the included carry pouch, taking up minimal space in a backpack, vest, or vehicle.
Thanks to its multifunctional design, the Lightweight Poncho can be used both as a waterproof garment and as a tarp or emergency shelter, making it a very versatile solution for bushcraft, hiking, survival, and professional use in outdoor environments.
