Special Forces 2 Sleeping Bag - Snugpak

The Special Forces 2 sleeping bag from British brand Snugpak has a mummy-shaped design that helps retain warmth inside. It comes with a compression sack to reduce its volume for easier transport. Designed for cold environments, it has a comfort temperature of -7 °C and an indicative limit temperature of -12 °C.

It is made with a wind-resistant, water-repellent Paratex Steelplate outer fabric, and a soft, lightweight, breathable Paratex Light lining. The synthetic Softie® Premier filling combines a down-like feel with the durability of synthetic fibres, retaining its insulating properties in damp conditions.

It features a central two-way zip for adjustable ventilation, with an internal insulating baffle that helps prevent heat loss through the zip. The Snugfit hood adjusts with a drawcord to fit around the head. In addition, the foot area is reinforced so you can sleep with your boots on. The bag also includes attachment points for a sleeping bag liner and webbing loops for hanging it up to air and dry.

It can be used on its own or combined with the Special Forces 1 using the system's joining zip, creating a set for extreme temperatures down to approximately -15 °C.
