Ballistic Protection polyethylene ballistic plates are made of ultra high molecular weight polyethylene, stand alone. These plates resist up to 7.62mm NATO FMJ rifles.
It is tested and complies with the standards established by the U.S. Institute of Justice, NIJ-0101.06.
The case is made of 1000D Nylon, is tear resistant and has a treatment that makes it resistant to UV rays and water.
Each plate has an approximate weight of 1.5kg, much lighter than ceramic plates, and measures 25.5 x 30.5 cm, thickness of 3cm. The plates have a small curvature to better adapt to the shape of our body.
The manufacturer recommends that the configuration be: level IV aluminum stand alone front plate with protection against sniper fire and level III polyethylene rear plate.
The most usual distribution is: level IV protection plate at the front and level III at the rear.
