eStar 1300 Lum. Headlamp - Nextorch

The rechargeable Nextorch eStar headlamp is designed for both close-range work and open spaces. It combines a focused beam and a flood beam that can be used separately or at the same time, with a maximum output of 1300 lumens and a lighting distance of up to 205 meters.

It also includes red lighting, SOS mode, and Nextorch’s  Claw Optics™ optical system, developed to deliver more even illumination across the entire beam, avoiding overly pronounced hotspots.

It features 5 lighting modes: Spot + Flood, Spotlight, Floodlight, red light, and SOS. The combined Spot + Flood mode reaches 1300 lm, while Spotlight and Floodlight deliver up to 650 lm each. With the side rotating crown, we can adjust the brightness smoothly even while wearing gloves. The headlamp also includes brightness memory to restore the previously set brightness level.

One of its most interesting features is its power system. This model includes 2 removable 1200 mAh Li-Polymer batteries, one of them as a spare battery, rechargeable via USB-C. It can also run on 3 alkaline AAA batteries, allowing us to keep using the headlamp when recharging isn’t possible. With the Li-Polymer battery, it offers up to 110 hours of runtime on the low white-light setting. At max power, it offers approximately 1 h 45 min. The beam’s maximum intensity reaches 10.506 cd.

The red light delivers up to 50 lumens and is especially useful when we want to preserve night vision or reduce the amount of visible light around us. SOS mode adds a flashing light signal for emergency situations. The headlamp can tilt up to 40°, allowing us to direct the light wherever we need it.

The headband is made from antimicrobial grade 7A fibers, odor-resistant and designed to retain their properties for up to 150 washes. Its ventilated construction helps wick away sweat and includes reflective elements to improve our visibility.

The eStar has IP67 water and dust protection and impact resistance from 1 meter. Its body is made of PC + ABS and aluminum alloy. It measures 63 × 46 × 36 mm (2.48 × 1.81 × 1.42 in) and weighs approximately 87 g without battery (3.07 oz) or 110 g with battery (3.88 oz).
