The Holosun P.ID-HC tactical light is a compact white light weapon light designed to provide intense illumination in low-light conditions. Its output of 800 lumens and 42,000 candela produces a focused beam that makes it easier to identify details at longer distances, while keeping a compact form for professional use.

Its body is made of 7075-T6 aluminum with a hard-anodized finish, offering a wear-resistant build. It features IPX8 water resistance and a vibration resistance of 1,500 G. Its approximate dimensions of 81.3 × 30.5 × 35.6 mm and its weight of 142 g make it possible to integrate high-intensity lighting into a compact setup.

It offers two lighting modes: a high mode of 800 lumens and 42,000 candela, and a low mode of 400 lumens and 21,000 candela, with up to 60 minutes of runtime in low mode. It is powered by an included rechargeable 18350 battery, which can be recharged without removing it from the light using the included magnetic USB charging cable.

Its mount is compatible with MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rails and includes adapters to make fitting to different platforms easier. The ambidextrous controls allow activation by pressing forward or inward. Mount compatibility should be checked according to the rail and available space on each pistol.

Compared with the standard P.ID, with 1,000 lumens and 23,000 candela, the P.ID-HC offers 800 lumens and 42,000 candela, prioritizing center-beam intensity. Lumens indicate the total amount of light emitted, while candela expresses its intensity in one direction. For this reason, the HC concentrates more of the light toward the center and improves visibility at longer distances, even though it emits less total light.
