Ballistic Protection brand level 4 ballistic plates are manufactured from Stand Alone alumina ceramic with ultra high molecular weight polyethylene backing. It is resistant to rifles up to .30 AP / 7.62mm NATO FMJ.
The cover is made of tear-resistant 1000D Nylon , it also has UV treatment and is waterproof. It has a curved design that fits better to our torso.
The shooter plate (front) weighs approximately 2.65kg , measures 25.4 x 30.5cm and is 2.4cm thick. The full plate (rear) weighs approximately 2.8kg and measures 25.5 x 30.5cm and is 2.4cm thick.
The manufacturer recommends that the configuration be: stand alone level IV aluminum front plate with protection against sniper shots and level III polyethylene rear plate.
The most common distribution is: level IV protection plate at the front and level III at the rear.
It has certification according to the standard NIJ-0101.06 .
