The Salomon QUEST 4 D FORCES 2 boot in coyote color, from the French manufacturer Salomon, is an all-terrain boot that has the latest Salomon advances in relation to the manufacturing and design of mountain boots. From the Sole All Terrain Contagrip to the knotting system SensiFit™. These are boots designed for civilians and military personnel looking for a high-performance mid-cut boot.
The sole Salomon's All Terrain Contagrip® is manufactured to cover the maximum number of possible surfaces, also ensuring long durability and safety on both wet and dry terrain.
It has the 4D Advanced Chassis™ , this frame provides stability to the boot even on the steepest terrain, thus reducing the feeling of fatigue on long kicks.
It is made of Nubuck leather, a type of cow leather, similar to suede, but with substantial differences. The manufacturing process is different, polishing and tanning is carried out on the outer side of the leather. This provides greater durability.
The midsole is made with a combination of rubbers of different densities to offer greater cushioning, stability and control. Also contains EVA rubber EnergyCell, a type of EVA rubber that reduces impacts.
It has a mesh around the top of the shaft and the reinforced tongue that prevent small stones from getting inside the boot. The reinforced tongue also helps keep it centered.
It is made of non-reflective materials, especially designed for tactical environments.
It has a breathable lining for greater comfort and better cooling.
It is compatible with Salomon's Quicklace™ system (not included).
The webbing that we see from the laces to the lower leather part is the technology Salomon's SensiFit™ wraps the foot from the top to the bottom and on both sides.
It has templates OrthoLite® , these provide us with better cushioning, breathability and durability. Increasing the comfort and performance of the boot.
The ISO 20344:2011 standard certifies it, ensuring that they have a layer of puncture-resistant material that prevents sharp objects from penetrating the sole of the shoe.
They also comply with ISO 2419:2012, related to the thickness and quality of the leather, it assures us that it has a thickness of 2mm for greater durability.
The approximate weight of the boot is 650g for a size 42 2/3.
