AERO-TAC™ Side-Zip Boot, 5“ Mid - First Tactical

The AERO-TAC™ 5" side-zip mid-height tactical boots from the American brand First Tactical were developed to deliver the agility of a sports sneaker with the durability and support required for everyday duty. Their 5" (12.7 cm) mid-height shaft, combined with an exceptionally lightweight build, makes them a highly appealing option for professionals who need to move quickly without giving up stability, protection, or comfort during long shifts.

The upper is made from polyester mesh with hyper-fused TPU layers, a technology that bonds the reinforcements continuously to reduce the risk of delamination, lower overall weight, and improve abrasion resistance. It also includes a reinforced TPU toe cap, a nylon internal shank for structural support, and a YKK® side zipper, which makes the boots quicker to put on and take off without compromising fit.

Inside, these boots feature an Aegis® antimicrobial mesh lining, designed to fight the bacteria responsible for odor and stains, helping maintain a fresh feel shift after shift. They also include an open-cell Ortholite® insole, known for providing long-lasting cushioning, breathability, and a high level of comfort even during extended wear.

In terms of performance in motion, the AMPD™ midsole, made from a proprietary compression-molded EVA blend, reduces strain on the foot and absorbs impact to help minimize fatigue. The REZ-TRAC™ outsole has been designed to provide multidirectional traction and stability, while also exceeding the slip-resistance standards EN 20345:20222 and ASTM F3445-21. As a metal-free boot, it is also suitable for secure facilities and environments where footwear compatible with access controls is required.
