The Bivvi Bag WGTE waterproof bivvy bag from the British brand Snugpak is an ultralight, compact solution designed for those seeking minimal volume without sacrificing real protection against the elements. It can be used as a basic summer bivvy shelter or as a complement to a full sleep system (sleeping bag and mat) year-round.

Thanks to its technical fabric Paratex Dry, this bivvy bag offers full waterproofing with a 5,000 mm water column, windproof protection and sealed seams. By creating a closed microclimate, it helps retain body heat by reducing heat loss from evaporation and convection, significantly improving thermal comfort in adverse conditions.

The Paratex Dry material is also breathable, allowing moisture generated inside to escape to the outside. This keeps the interior dry and comfortable, preventing condensation build-up and providing a greater sense of thermal comfort for warmer, more comfortable sleep.

Its extremely small packed size and minimal weight make it an essential item in outdoor gear, suitable for bushcraft, trekking, tactical bivvying or emergency and survival kits. It can be carried easily with or without a sleeping bag and stores in its included compression stuff sack.

Safety note: although the fabric is designed to be breathable, it does not allow enough airflow for breathing. To avoid the risk of suffocation, no bivvy bag system should be completely sealed.
