The Holosun P.ID tactical flashlight is a white-light pistol flashlight that combines a compact design with a maximum output of 1,000 lumens and 23,000 candela, making visual identification easier in low-light conditions. It offers two intensity levels: a high mode with a runtime of approximately 30 minutes and a low mode of 500 lumens and 11,000 candela, which extends runtime to up to 60 minutes.

Its body is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum with a hard-anodized finish, providing a rugged build for professional and sporting use. It features IPX8 water resistance and a vibration resistance of 1,500 G. Its approximate dimensions of 81.3 × 30.5 × 35.6 mm and its approximate weight of 142 g allow powerful illumination to be integrated into a compact package.

It is powered by a included flat-top rechargeable 18350 battery, which can be recharged directly in the flashlight using the supplied magnetic USB cable. This system avoids having to remove the battery to charge it and makes maintenance easier between uses.

The ambidextrous controls, located on both sides of the housing, allow the flashlight to be operated with either the right or left hand by pressing forward or inward. It offers momentary and constant-on operation, as well as a lockout function to prevent accidental activation.

The P.ID mounts on MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny accessory rails and includes three interface adapters to fit different setups. The package includes the battery, the magnetic charging cable, the adapters, a Torx T10 tool, a cleaning cloth, and the instruction manual.

Holosun lists the following holster families for use with the P.ID in its compatibility chart. It is necessary to check the exact holster reference and configuration for the pistol and flashlight combination, since the family name does not guarantee compatibility across all variants:
