Spanish Bachiller qualification equivalencies for the CNP

Equivalencies to the Bachiller qualification for access to public or private employment (those under article 4 of Order EDU/1603/2009 apply solely for professional purposes):

• The Bachiller qualification (BUP, Law 14/1970) or any Bachiller Superior qualification (general, vocational or technical), as set out in Organic Law 2/2006, of May 3, on Education. Thirty-first additional provision.2
• Entrance examination for higher-level vocational education, higher-level professional education in plastic arts and design, and higher-level sports education, provided that possession of the ESO qualification or an academically equivalent qualification is demonstrated, as set out in Art.4.1 of Order EDU/1603/2009.

• Entrance examination for higher artistic education for those over nineteen years old, provided that one of the following requirements is demonstrated: the ESO qualification or an academically equivalent qualification, the equivalence established in point 1 of article 3 of this order, or at least 15 ECTS credits passed in higher artistic education, as set out in Art.4.2 of Order EDU/1603/2009

• University entrance examination for those over twenty-five years old, provided that possession of the ESO qualification or an equivalent qualification for academic or professional purposes, or at least 15 ECTS credits passed in university studies, is demonstrated. In this case, professional equivalence to the ESO qualification obtained solely through the university entrance examination for those over twenty-five years old under article 3.5 is not valid. As set out in Art.4.3 of EDU/1603/2009 as worded in Order EDU/520/2011.

• Partially completed Bachillerato studies under a pre-LOGSE curriculum, excluding Bachillerato Elemental, provided that it is demonstrated that, at the time, only the higher-level final examination or reválida, or a maximum of two subjects of the relevant Bachillerato programme, remained to be passed, as set out in Art.4.4 of Order EDU/1603/2009.
• The Técnico qualification in FP or Artes Plásticas y Diseño, or the Técnico Deportivo qualification, in any of their specialisms, as set out in DA1ª of Order EDU/1603/2009.
• The Técnico Auxiliar qualification under Law 14/1970 LGE, as set out in DA31ª.3. of the LOE + DA1ª of Order EDU/1603/2009.

• Proof through official documents of having passed certain artistic education studies listed in Annex II of Order EDU/520/2011, as set out in Art.4.5 of EDU/1603/2009 as worded in Order EDU/520/2011.
