The P-2201 UBL Universal Belt Loops (UBL) Insert adapter from the American brand Safariland is designed to be used in conjunction with UBL and CUBL paddles, helping the paddle fit more snugly to the belt and our body, move less, and generally give us a feeling of greater firmness in carrying our weapon.
It allows us to reduce the excess size of the belt gap from 2.25" (58 mm) to 2" (50 mm) or from 2" (50 mm) to 1.75" (42 mm). Additionally, it also fits more closely to the belt which prevents the paddle from moving along the belt, remaining fixed in the position we mount it.
