The 6-inch (15cm) chemical lights from the Austrian brand Clawgear are filled with two non-toxic chemical solutions, one of which is activated by bending the tube with your hands and shaking it. Doing this breaks the inner ampoule that separates the two chemical substances.
This chemical reaction emits light without generating heat, can be used underwater, weighs only 20 grams, and has a diameter of 1.5cm.
