The sleeping bag Softie Elite 4 from the British brand Snugpak is a high-performance sleeping bag designed for cold climates (comfort temperature -10 °C / 14 °F) and demanding conditions where thermal protection, ruggedness and adaptability are essential. It is part of the WGTE range and is intended for both military use and civilian outdoor use.
Its main distinguishing feature is the integrated expandable side panel, which initially acts as an extra-thick zip thermal flap and, when unfolded, allows the bag to be widened. This system provides greater freedom of movement and better temperature management, especially useful when ventilation is needed without compromising insulation.
The synthetic insulation Softie®, combined with the thermal lining Reflectatherm, offers excellent heat retention even in humid conditions, maintaining a high level of comfort at subzero temperatures. Additionally, its reinforced design in the foot area allows you to keep boots on without damaging the bag, a key feature in operational environments.
