The Salomon Jungle boots from the tactical Forces range feature a 8" (20.32 cm) high boots made with specific materials designed to offer lightness, durability, and very fast drying in extreme conditions. They have been specifically developed for missions in jungle, hot, and humid environments, where controlling heat and moisture is essential.

Its upper combines debris-resistant mesh, single-layer quick-drying mesh, anti-reflective materials, and 1.3 mm PU-coated leather, achieving a sturdy, lightweight build. It also includes drainage ports and perforated padding to speed water evacuation and promote faster drying.

It features the Salomon 3D Advanced Chassis, placed between the midsole and the outsole, which improves motion control and stability, while also providing extra protection against accidental foot twisting.

Durability is reinforced in the boot's key elements. It features 3D protective toe cap, a "protective rand" around the base of the foot to protect the sides, and a medial protective pad on the inner instep area that increases wear resistance and makes fast rope maneuvers easier.

The outsole Contagrip® MA, designed to offer a multisurface design, providing reliable, long-lasting grip on wet, dry, hard, or loose surfaces.

The midsole is made with dual-density materials, which provides a combination of cushioning, stability, and motion control. Added to this is EnergyCell foam, a high-performance EVA that improves impact absorption and comfort during long periods of use.

The tongue is reinforced and attached to the upper on both sides, which helps keep debris out and keeps the tongue centered. It also includes a lace pocket in the tongue itself to store excess lace and reduce snagging. The closure system uses laces with eyelets and closed hooks, the latter minimizing the risk of getting caught on ropes or other elements.

It features SensiFit™ technology, which wraps the foot from the midsole to the lacing system to provide a secure, precise, and virtually customized fit all around the foot.

It includes a die-cut OrthoLite® insole, which improves comfort from the first wear and provides greater durability, breathability, and moisture and odor control. In addition, the outsole perforations promote a more comfortable internal climate for the foot.

For greater protection, it incorporates a non-metallic ENIGMA ZERO HT2 puncture-resistant insert, woven and 3.9 mm thick, designed to reduce the risk of sharp objects penetrating from below.

The boot has an approximate weight of 607 g (UK size 8.5), with a sole height of 31 mm at the heel and 20 mm at the forefoot, and an 11 mm drop. Their last corresponds to a standard Salomon Forces last.
